Idriss Hadj Nacer
A political economist by trade, Idriss has extensive experience in market intelligence, corporate finance and business strategy.
An alumnus of the London School of Economics and Sciences-Po Paris, Idriss has previously held positions at international research firms BMI Research (Fitch Group), Evalueserve AG and Bloomberg LP, before returning to Algeria and a career in corporate finance and strategy. Idriss brings a strong background in financial and economic modelling, forecasting and macroeconomic analysis to the Itri Insights team.
Idriss has worked and lived across four continents and is fluent in French, Arabic, English and Spanish.
Amy Turner
Amy is a market research and economic intelligence specialist. She has hands-on experience across a wide range of sectors and geographies, with a particular focus on retrieving data from challenging or information-poor environments.
Prior to co-founding Itri Insights, Amy set up and managed the Economic Monitoring department at the Algerian-French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Algiers. Building the department from the ground up, she implemented a range of data collection and analytics tools. She began her career in market research by working her way up through the Rapid Research team at international outsourcing specialist Evalueserve AG.
Amy has an MA (Oxon) in European and Middle Eastern Languages (Arabic & Spanish) from the University of Oxford. She has worked for extended periods in the United Kingdom, Latin America and Algeria.
